iTunes Store payments are subscription agreements between Apple and the customer, and FOD SHORT provides its services based on information shared with Apple.
Since customer information related to subscription agreements is managed by Apple, please contact Apple for any questions regarding billing or contracts.
■Payment Methods
Credit and debit cards are accepted for iTunes Store payments.
"apple.com/bill" will appear on your credit card statement.
*The statement wording may vary depending on your card company.
■Contract Period/Billing Date
The Contract period is from the registration date to the day before the same day the following month/on the registration date.
If there is no same day the following month, your contract period will be one month, ending one day before the end of the following month.
*Please note that cancellation deadlines are two days before the same day of the following month.
Example: If you register on August 8th
Contract Period: August 8th - September 7th
Your next billing will be on September 8th.
- Re-registration within the same month
If you cancel your contract and re-register within the same month, there will be no new charges.
[Important Notes]
The dates listed in the subscription section of your Apple device's settings are displayed in "local time in the location of Apple's headquarters (overseas)."
The dates listed on your Apple statement and the FOD SHORT app are displayed in "Japan time." Therefore, some users may experience the following issues.
- The next billing date listed in the subscription section of your Apple device's settings is different from the date listed on your Apple statement.
→ Please check the date listed in the subscription section of your Apple device's settings.
If you wish to cancel, please check your next billing date and cancel your subscription by the day before.
- The next billing date listed in the FOD app is not the same as the date of your registration.
→ For the correct next billing date, please check the date listed in the subscription section of your Apple device's settings.
- The case you are billed twice within the same month.
->The second bill is for the following month.
■How to check your subscription status
iTunes Store payments may not be immediately applied on your FOD SHORT subscription status.
Please confirm that the Apple ID you currenlty log in to the FOD SHORT app is the same account you have subscribed to, and check both your subscription status in the FOD SHORT app and the subscription status in the iOS device settings.
1. If you currently subscribe to FOD SHORT via iTunes Store payments
① Your subscription is displayed as "Active".
You currently subscribe to SHORT Unlimited via iTunes Store payments.
② "Your subscription is expiring." is displayed.
You can use SHORT Unlimited until the subscription expiration date.
SHORT Unlimited will be cancelled after the expiration date.
③ "You've canceled your subscription." is displayed.
You may probably be logging in with wrong Apple ID.
Please log in with the Apple ID you subscribe to SHORT Unlimited and check your SHORT Unlimited subscription status.
2. If you have cancelled SHORT Unlimited
① "You've canceled your subscription" is displayed.
You do not have a SHORT Unlimited subscription through the iTunes Store, and your subscription has been successfully cancelled.
② "Your subscription is expiring." is displayed.
You can use SHORT Unlimited until your subscription expiration date.
SHORT Unlimited will be cancelled after the expiration date.
If your subscription has already expired, please contact the FOD SHORT Support Center.
③ If your subscription is displayed as "Active"
Please contact the FOD SHORT Support Center.
■ How to Check Your Payment History
You can check your payment history from the payment confirmation email which is sent each month to your email address associated with your Apple ID.

The cancellation deadline is two days before your subscription date each month.
Your subscription will automatically continue unless you cancel.
After completing the cancellation procedure, you can continue using FOD SHORT until your next renewal date.
